Astraea is a portal to Big Picture thinking,  information on body, mind and spirit, and courses and training that we offer. 

Astraea came on-line in 1999 with The Big Picture Story which outlines "the meaning of life" from the begining of time until today.  Since then we've added pages to help people understand our physical, intellectual and spiritual dimensions.  We published a newsletter for four years (2003-2007) which discussed news and views relevant to enlightened change.  This evolved into our blog, to which we regularly post news and views.  And we've been offering coaching and training since before Astraea went live, in areas from business planning to healthy living - these are outlined in Changing Course; our method leans to biomimicry, using a holonic perspective and experiential learning.

Our passion is to balance humanity's desire for fairness and equity for all life against the need to consume resources and the desire to control resources. We favour The Golden Rule (do unto others as you would have them do to you) over the golden rule (he who has the gold makes the rules). Money and ethics are not mutually exclusive and together offer a solution to the challenges of the world today. Consume fairly, invest ethically and, when you have enough, help the world.   We have an open policy and are thus part of the noosphere - the emerging web of global conscience.
